I love music. It’s truly amazing how a song can be heard countless times throughout your years and then for 4 minutes on some random day, you become separated from the world and a part of the song. When I got home last night, my roommates’ girlfriend was watching American Idol and it was right before Carrie Underwood performed her song ‘Change’. I bought her newest album; “Play On”, when it came out and I had never listened to it so I hadn’t heard this song before. An outstanding performance and I really liked the song especially with her vocals. So I went into my room to see if I indeed had the song and added it to my favorites list.
This morning after I had my interview I was listening to the song and I had the feeling of being able to relate. Just listen to the words and I bet you can find things in your life that you can but in place of the verses if you can’t already relate to the existing lines.
