“If someone says, ‘I love God,’ but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?” – John 4:20
A few weeks ago, in an 8-to-1 decision, the court ruled that the hateful message of Westboro Baptist Church (through protests at military funerals) is protected under the First Amendment. Seeing and hearing of this “church” many protests at fallen soldiers funerals made this ruling very heart-breaking. Isn’t their case nothing but the definition of contradiction? They are deliberately disrespecting the men and women who gave their life to protect the United States Constitution and are hiding behind the First Amendment.
The more you hear anything about this group that exudes hate just solidifies more and more that we do not know the same God. It is just downright sickening to see how much hatred they have but claim they know God.
